Aikido Plus One: Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
A one-day seminar hosted by Maru Dojo, August 19 2017
Following on the heels of Ikazuchi Dojo's Bullet Proofing Pins seminar, Ray Feliciano partnered with Prof. Roy Dean to further explore henkawaza through the context of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Why should I attend?
The seminar focuses on aikidoka who want to explore the connection between Aikido and BJJ. Initial movements will be aikido techniques, with a following emphasis placed on BJJ pinning techniques, escapes, and counters.
Q&A with Professor Roy Dean will follow after the seminar.
Requirements
As this is an advanced seminar, a strong grasp of Aikido fundamentals is required. Attendance is limited to aikidoka ranked sankyu and above, though exceptions can be granted with a letter of recommendation from an instructor.
Ray Feliciano, Maru Dojo
